OK, here's my installment :) We had so much fun at the cabin...including beautiful weather & awesome company! We got to the cabin after our girl-shopping & boy-snowmobile show & picking up a couple of pizzas. The guys had the cabin all ready for us when we got there. After dinner, I started the frosting for our cookies (thank you so much gr & gr moosman for the cookies). I was so excited to use the cool neon green & wild purple & pumpkin orange food coloring I'd bought especially for our event...only to discover I'd left it home sitting on the counter!! So...not wanting to just have 'plain-ol' white, I took some Tang and added it to 1/3 of the frosting...I mean it's orange, right?!? It actually wasn't too bad...a tangy citrusy flavor...hmmm. Anyway, every one was very gracious and forgiving...and unbelievably creative!
Saturday after breakfast (and a quick motorcycle ride for Steven & Ben) we carved our pumpkins. What a great time we had. Thanks Mom & Dad for sharing the cabin & being with us, too!

It sounds like you guys did alright. The pumpkins are of course the best! Thanks for sharing
Hey I would try that frosting!
Wendy - you are SO creative, I wouldn't think of anything else but for you to come up with TANG. I probably would have ground up some weeds or something. Those are some of the cutest cookies (and pumpkins) I've seen!
Great Times....Great family....
I miss being at the cabin this time of year. Looks like fun, and those cookies look yummy.
