On April 11th I had the opportunity to attend the Missouri, Kansas City Temple open house with my dear friend, JoEllen. There was a great turnout and one of the guides mentioned the ending date had been extended multiple times because of the interest in touring the new Temple. It was significant to me that out of our group of apx 20 people, more that half were not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. These guests were complimentary and seemed to be impressed favorably...as was the woman in this article - Danielle Tumminio - a female Episcopal Priest. It was humbling to see the excitement and anticipation of the members there, to finally have a Temple so close to them. I have 13 (soon to be 14) Temples within the same time frame it took my friend to get to her nearest Temple. I am VERY grateful!! Hurrah for Israel!
